Next, each color is hand-filled individually with a powdered glass-like substance and fired at 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit, so colors hold fast and never bleed or smudge. The process used with cloisonné pins gives us the freedom to custom match colors you select. Once each pin is hand-polished and individually packaged, its brilliant sheen and smooth surface come through, giving an appearance similar to fine jewelry.
